BROOKE’S BAKERY

Develop a brand identity and product mockups for an at-home baker who wants to take their hoby to the next level.

THE PROCESS

FIRST: WHO IS BROOKE?

Brooke cannot show up anywhere without some sort of homemade, baked good. She has gained local recognition by word-of-mouth; now, it is time to make a mark to help the community identify her goods beyond her physical presence. Additionally, it will be helpful to have branded materials that can package her goods more quickly and consistently.

PROCESS

IDEATION / Word mapping and pencil sketches.

DRAFTING / The strongest sketches were translated into Illustrator.

ITERATION / Color palettes and the iconic figure were revised.

FINAL PRODUCTS

Once vector assets for the brand’s logos and colors are polished, the potential of the brand is demonstrated through product mockups.

BUSINESS COOKIES

Brooke is already integrated with her desired community; she does not do formal networking. As an alternative to business cards, I proposed a minimal keychain that could direct an organic following to her socials.

APPAREL

At the end of this study, I had an orange apron embroidered with the iconic logo as a gift to Brooke! I worked with a local shop, Elliott Productions.
