An exploration in crafting a unique feminine, handwriting font for digital notetaking.
Custom vector brushes in Adobe Illustrator emulate the nuances of physical mark-making from comparisons with scanned handwriting samples. Selected pen-style characters were integrated into FontSelf, an Adobe Illustrator extension; and, the final typeface was exported and animated in After Effects.
